Tatting Lace With Just Pastel Colors

Interesting tip to remember about a picot gauge. 


With a ring, the gauge sits above the core of the ring.

With chains, the gauge sits below the core thread.
Well I was hurrying a bit and didn't un-spin my shuttle before making picot so some got a little twist
but I am going with the natural look ha ha ha  :)

  1. Great tip about gauge! Isn't it because you work the chains in Reverse Stitch (unflipped reverse order stitches)? I've not yet used a gauge on a RS chain - your tip will be very handy.
    Love the natural pastel look :-))

    1. Yes, it is just a funny feeling as you start to place the gauge,and you fiddle less with it, if you just can remember first ha ha ha 🤔

  5. When I saw the first picture I thought of mastering tatting, it's a great book, I love your picots lovely frilly. Very pretty in tge pastel colours
